The Exhibition is a hub of activity at the 2025 TACConf, bringing together over 80 exhibiting oganizations from across Canada. It opens during the Welcome Reception on Sunday evening (17:00–19:00 ET) and remains accessible throughout the day on Monday and Tuesday. Be sure to explore the booths and connect with suppliers, consultants, government, and association partners before the Exhibition closes at 16:00 ET on Tuesday.

The Exhibition Hall and Foyer also offer a variety of features and services to enhance your conference experience:

  • Mobile phone charging station – Rent a complimentary portable battery (secured with a credit card).
  • Continental breakfasts, coffee breaks, and desserts – Enjoy refreshments throughout the day, including dessert and coffee served after lunch.

This year’s Opening Plenary Session will begin with welcome remarks from conference dignitaries and transition to a panel discussion offering diverse perspectives on the 2025 Conference theme, “Building a Sustainable Transportation Legacy.” Sarah Wells, Executive Director of TAC, will serve as the moderator, and the panel will comprise transportation leaders from federal, provincial, and municipal governments:

  • Frédéric Pellerin, Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable (Québec)
  • Stephanie Hébert, Transport Canada
  • Lon LaClaire, City of Vancouver

Together, the panel will explore what it means to build a sustainable legacy, highlight local and national initiatives, and reflect on how governments can collaborate more effectively to advance shared transportation priorities. The discussion will include an opportunity for the audience to ask questions.

This event will be recorded and made available to registered delegates after the conference.

Join fellow delegates for a lively Monday Lunch. From noon (please arrive promptly as lunch is served plated) until 12:40 ET, enjoy lunch and network at your table. From 12:40 through 13:00 ET, the conference emcee will recap and celebrate recipients of TAC’s 2025 Volunteer Recognition Awards and Technical Achievement Awards.

Come for the lunch, stay for the inspiration — and help us applaud the people and projects driving innovation and excellence in Canadian transportation.

Dessert and coffee will be provided from 13:00 to 14:00 ET in the Exhibition Hall following lunch —be sure to head there after your meal!

Step into history at the Voltigeurs de Québec Armoury, one of Québec City’s most iconic and atmospheric venues. This year’s Monday Night Event promises an evening of connection, flavour, and entertainment in a truly unforgettable setting.

Sample an array of appetizers and specialty food stations, sip a drink, and explore the grand halls of the Armoury while enjoying live entertainment. Highlights include performances by the Cirque troupe MystèrAct, a 360° photo booth experience, and a few other surprises.

This relaxed social evening is the perfect complement to the Conference’s busiest day. Come for the food, stay for the ambiance, and experience the unique spirit of Québec City in the heart of Old Québec.

Tuesday’s lunch shines a spotlight on the next generation of transportation leaders.

Lunch is again served plated from noon until 12:40 ET, giving delegates the chance to eat and chat with colleagues at their table. From 12:40 to 13:00 ET, recipients of TAC’s 2025 Young Professional Awards and Student Paper Prizes will be celebrated. The TAC Foundation will also update us on its scholarships and programs that help students and young professionals as they evolve into tomorrow’s transportation leaders.

Dessert and coffee will be served in the Exhibition Hall from 13:00 to 14:00 ET. Enjoy this last opportunity to visit the booths, as the Exhibition wraps up at 16:00 ET.

Students and young professionals are invited to end the day at this casual reception. Network with peers and learn more about getting involved with TAC’s councils and committees.

As the 2025 TACConf draws to a close, join us for lunch as we reflect on the week’s connections, insights, and accomplishments.

Lunch is served plated at the tables promptly at noon. At 12:35 ET, Sarah Wells, TAC’s Executive Director, will thank the many individuals and organizations who contributed to this year’s successful event, including our Local Organizing Committee and its representatives. We’ll also look ahead to the 2026 TAC Conference & Exhibition being held in Winnipeg from October 4 to 7.
